Why?

I’ve always been obsessed with finding the best hidden gems—those unique

spots that make a trip unforgettable. I’d spend hours researching, diving into blogs,

chatting with locals, and saving every cool place on Google Maps. Over time, my maps became goldmines, and friends constantly asked for them—even for places I hadn’t been to yet.

 

That’s when I had the idea for Offbeat Spots. Instead of spending hours researching, people could simply download a curated Google My Maps list and go. No wasted time, no FOMO—just the best spots, all categorized for easy access. With help from local friends, I do the digging so you can enjoy the trip.

Google My Maps is a tool that allows me to create and customize my maps. Unlike regular Google Maps, which shows general locations and directions,

 

Google My Maps lets me add my own pins, descriptions, photos, and even layers to organize locations in a personalized way. It’s useful for a variety of purposes, such as planning trips, sharing unique spots, or keeping track of important places. You can access My Maps also on Google Maps.
